Uptown night out

Yes is nighttime now and we are going all out for this uptown escape. As you might see we arranged two looks over a basic black dress (with a twist: the cut-out dress back) with gold earrings and a very current oversized clutch (which we kept black to make it more combinable). Now, from this starting point we have two options A (a more classic one) and B (a more “edgy” one); nevertheless there’s the same intention under both options this is to break up an all black outfit, therefore the blue and white. So for opt A, we focused on creamy whitish colors and added sparkle with the Stella McCartney's cardigan shiny paillettes. For opt B all the attention goes to the deep blue satin pumps which are combined with a more relaxed cardigan.

Tip: Another basic essential is a black belt which you can add to both options over the cardigan

Basic:

Stylish job

Today we'll see how to dress for a job interview or something related, the idea is to be kind of formal yet professional and stylish! I will post two looks one more expensive and the look for less, but you can totally do this with stuff at home. The main idea is to not look boring and dull so you might want to add some color like the blue David Szeto skirt or the BCBG dress. It's also very important to give the look a more formal touch so we got the high waisted skirt, but again to make it more “fashionable” we add a tucked in shirt and some low heeled shoes with opaque tights (or the belt in the cheaper look). The final touch? the jacket which lightens up the outfit. So bare in mind:

- Color

- High waisted skirt (tucked in shirt) or dress

- Low heeled shoes

- Very long or short jacket (sweater)

I adore big sweaters with tights and think they are great for daytime, just pair up with some flats to make it more casual and add a wool beret and trench for instant chic!
